  1. wimp(s). I ran early this morning and it wasn't that bad. Just have to be a little careful of the strong crosswinds.

Though I will admit I am not exactly looking forward to biking home later...

  2. Been on the fourth floor of our building and it is moving. People are not feeling well (motion sick).

  3. Sounds like your building needs one of these http://www.taipei-101.com.tw/en/DB/damper.asp

If I did have access to a mill I would probably hop on it this evening rather than heading out in the wind...should be interesting running!

  4. I got lucky this afternoon and was able to sneak out before it got really bad down here. Now it is ripping. Wind is my least favorite element to run in.

  5. There was some wind earlier, but the wind ramped up after 3 PM. I've got 70-80 mph gusts west of Denver. And I'm hearing some really strange noises from the building!

  6. Yeah, if it's not one thing it's another with the weather. I'm about done with it.

According to NCAR we hit 88.1mph Great Scott! I think that means we go back to the future. http://www.eol.ucar.edu/cgi-bin/weather.cgi?fields=wspd&site=ml&units=english&period=5-minute

10miles on that dreaded mill today. The worst part is I get to stair at the pizza/bar across the street the whole time.

  7. Just saw this on FB:

Nice! Glass Bridge over Highway 36 is disintegrating in the wind. It stands between my work & my home. Guess I'm Taking Marshall Road!

  8. I saw the headline on the DC that 36 was closed for a bit while they were doing repairs to the ped bridge.

But the winds and the fire in Lyons are a bigger deal now.

  9. A day late and all that jazz...but us out here in the eastern prairies didn't endure half the winds you guys had. And I was okay with that.
