Of course, I took 81 minutes to Barr Camp. And 96 minutes to the top this year. Splits over the years - and that shows that while I most definitely went out too fast - I was also having a bad day. At BTMR, I went through the Ws forty five seconds faster and at a lower HR. I split through No Name Creek also 44 seconds faster at a lower HR. It goes on - 7.8 sign - 50 seconds faster - lower HR. Barr Camp, 64 seconds faster and you guessed it - lower HR. So I made the mistake of not listening to HR data. But I was running slower anyway. I split on whole to Barr from Hydro three minutes SLOWER than BTMR but at a higher HR. Nearly split from PPA 08 was faster than every split this year (I ran one, the Ws - slower - 12 second slower last year). Everyone. ... but bad day + bad decisions on a bad day = melt down.
