I am definitely dehydrated - or maybe it is better to say, behind on my hydration. I could feel it today. I have just have been lazy with it the last few days.
Mind of course is still dancing on the best course of action. Last night I was thinking I'd just run easy for six weeks OR just run however I felt, where ever I felt, when ever I felt. But today, I felt the itch to get some 5k or 10k work in. I still don't know and am okay with that. These runs are not for training right now - they are for a bit of introspection on what I want to do next with running. Part of the allure of the draw to the 10k/5k is that I can work a bit on some 40 something PRs, get some speed back - and if you have a bad one - wait a week. A bad mountain marathon? Wait a year. Just need to let the thoughts go there for a bit ...
I can definitely see a "welt" on my right quad from the bike wipe out last week. When I land on the right leg, I can see the muscle "bulge" out a bit (comparatively to the left). TZ confirmed that I was not hallucinating.
