Slept great again last night, and getting a late start was not as much of an issue today as it was cooler and I was going shorter. 5 miles, with 8 x 100 meter strides in the middle mile, letting HR come back down to 140 before starting the next. Felt great – and was surprised as to how easy the “speed” (for me) came. Started at 18, but they wound naturally to 15+. Long mountain run tomorrow.
