- Thursday link love – interviews with Anton and Duncan pre – Leadville. The Leadville talk, the feedback talk, and a couple of down days ... gots me some itches. I can feel way back there an itch for something like Leadville. The epic nature of that race, and subsequent camerderie - well you can feel I'd love to be up there crewing for someone this weekend, to get a feel for the race - but that just ain't going to work out.
- I saw a display at the grocery store this AM that caught my eye …
it said “Mexican Coca Cola.” Apparently when it is made with cane sugar, it is Mexican Coca Cola, versus the HFCS stuff it is normally made with. I ain’t a sodie fan but it seems the stuff south of the border would be the way to go. - UK Mountain RT announced. Nick – you got any “home team pride” in this? I’ll put a brew on US over UK (even though I have no idea who those folks are, but I bet they run in “trousers.”)

Uh, I have to confess that I recognize no names on the UK team. The only UK mountain/trail runners I've heard of are that Jez guy who placed at States, Lizzy Hawker http://lizzyhawker.blogspot.com, and those two guys (Andy Symonds and Tom Owens) who came in second at Transrockies last year, but none of them are on the team.
