The Wetmore factor. CU, the defending mens XC National Champs, start their season this Saturday with the “time trial” over on Buff Ranch. That course – 8k – is deceptively hard.

Slept poorly, and could not get up the muster to get out early for a run. Wedged one in between leaving the office and my flight out of Newark. Timko had also put in his recommendations the South Mountain reservation. It was on the way to the airport, so slipped in an hour in, mixing in some trails and road. Another green jewel in the middle of urban stuff. 7 miles.
