Afternoon – 5.2 miles. Not sore or significantly fatigued from yesterday but I do have some “niggles” from the falls yesterday. Probably the biggest issue is I gave my left big toe a nice smack on one of the falls and there was some bleeding at the front of the nail. No biggie. Kept it easy today to ensure some recovery.
Off to PHX for the week. Good number of Boulder IM folks at the airport. Apparently it is hot in Phoenix. At least that is what everyone tells me.
Got notice of my bib number assignment for Pikes. Uh, yeah.
At least one guy yesterday told me after the race that he was going to get a burro from someone and train to end my little game up there in Leadville. Bring it baby.
