That was just stupid insane; congrats to Peter for a helluva project.
A yellow card for track? Because you ripped your shirt off en route to a win? Wow.
Disturbing data.
PP last minute instructions from RD Ron Ilgen. Still no sign of Carpenter on the Competitive Entry Bios. I have noticed that bib 19 is not assigned. Why is that important? Matt has won on the mountain 18 times. He has in the past used the bib number of what win it would be for him. Also 24 is not assigned … it would be his 24th run on the mountain.
Top 5 men in the marathon I am predicting: Nichols, Delaney, Lauenstien, Clayton, Terer. Top 5 masters – got to rule Mackey out as he is at Leadville. Zuniga, Dickey, Valliere, Solberg, Hahn.
Leadville preview.
AM – 3.3 miles. Easy with the Lucy dog. She is pretty fit for her right now.
I agree about Nichols and Lauenstein. Delaney will probably be in the top 5, too, but the registration pages indicate that he's doubling. Of course, Mackey doubled last year and still ran a solid marathon time.
ReplyDeleteHas Clayton been injured this year? I don't think I've seen a result for him since early spring or before.
Terer didn't do so well at BTMR, but I don't know how he was treating that race. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have beat him if he had been racing hard and feeling good.

Good stuff Scott.
DeleteYeah, I dunno on Clayton. He seems to have vanished so I am guessing on him showing. I had missed that Dickey was doubling. I might need to recast on that.
I think I read somewhere that Clayton had injury that required surgery, he may be out till 2015 then.
DeleteHearing now from multiple sources that Clayton is out.
DeleteThen again, Bernie doubled for a few years there and was 3rd in both races. And then there is Matt but he is from some other galaxy.
