Admittedly, I find my reaction to be mixed for this. On one hand I clearly see the case where if you line up, you ought to know the rules – including what is banned and that you could be tested and deal with the consequences of that. On the other hand, I see the case where what we have defined as banned (or not) is not perfectly cut and dried – particularly as those same substances maybe used as part of a general health protocol.
And knowing the person in question certainly does not make the picture more clear.
