Up here in Michigan today. No running but played a little soccer with the offspring, swam until we were pruned out.
But … the running thoughts were a bit louder today. Thinking about the next. It would come in spurts, mostly kicked up by relatives asking if I already went for a run today. For the most part I was able to let that go and be in the moment.
And this guy mentions PP. Gulp.
Couple of interesting quotes in here. “When does it end? Everybody expects me to run. Everyone expects me to win.”
Spectators are not allowed on the course for this weekend’s PP road ascent.
Wow. Holy Alps. Getting there is officially on some unofficial list.
Well maybe what Matt needs to get a new fire is someone like Kilian to show up. By my math, Matt will be twice the age of Kilian next year. There's no way Matt should keep winning every year at his age. But he does.
ReplyDeleteenjoy A2! if you have time, try to get out the pinckney recreation area and run the potowatomi trail. it's where i've done most of my running for the past few years. gorgeous! i'll also recommend ashley's pub for a few pints.

ReplyDeleteP, Ward, my agenda here, as it is a family wedding is pretty set. Good timing for me to take time off from running and not freak folks out with a training routine. Appreciate the thoughts nonetheless!
